1. With rising food costs food is out of reach for many families, therefore please continue your $1 or more per week donations to the Community Services. The benevolence fund and Community Services are not the same. Please be sure to write Community Services” on the envelope when you return your tithes.
2. Distribution: Sunday, June 16th, 1-3pm. Volunteers meet at 11am. Also, CORE GEORGIA (Community Organized Relief Effort) will be present offering free FLU & COVID-19 vaccines from 11am-3pm
on June 16th. TANF, WIC, SNAP, CAPS & Medicaid application assistance will also be available.
4. Delivery: The Food Pantry has a new partnership with Walmart. We are in need of volunteers Mondays & Thursdays @ 9am to assist with unloading and storing of food.
5. We are collecting back to school supplies/donations; please see Elder Consuella Bennett, Grace Edouard, Petra Lawrence or Latoya Rose.
