1. With rising food costs food is out of reach for many families, therefore please continue your $1 or more per week donations to the Community Services. The benevolence fund and Community Services are not the same. Please be sure to write “Community Services” on the envelope when you return your tithes.
2. The food pantry is asking for persons to join our distribution registration team, please call Sis. Grace if you are interested.
3. The shower bus is finally ready for us to serve our unhoused community members. We need volunteers to work the shower bus; drivers, security, cleaning teams, etc. All persons interested in helping please see Elder Darlene White or Sis. Grace Edouard for more information.
4. Also, we are collecting clothes for the "Shower on the Go" ministry, preferably slightly worn men jeans and T-shirts.
5. Distribution: April 7th at 1pm-3pm. Volunteers are asked to arrive at 11am.
6. IMPORTANT: The Atlanta Community Food Bank has a seniors food program that they have been asking us to participate in and we would love to. However, we need someone to be in charge of it. If you are interested, please contact Sis. Grace Edouard for more information.
