Help Us Expand God's Kingdom

Dear Church Members:
God has given us a marvelous opportunity to do daring things for Him. As we move forward in faith we have His glorious assurance that the Holy Spirit will accompany us.
Since 1888 the Seventh-day Adventist church has been carrying forward the work of saving souls in the Metro Atlanta Area. One hundred and eighteen years later we are a mere seventeen thousand baptized members between the two conferences.
As you are aware in recent years the Metro Atlanta area has been experiencing rapid growth. The city has over five million people with the numbers promising to rise to eight million by the next General Conference Session in 2010.
Current statistics indicate nine hundred and eight individuals are moving to the Atlanta area each day. This is a marvelous opportunity to spread the gospel. I would like to be a part of the Holy Spirit’s initiative in making this happen. But I can only do it with your help. I rejoice to know that I belong to a great church family. With our combined strength the Seventh-day Adventist Church can establish a visible presence in Atlanta.
I need your help in locating individuals or institutions to help fund the planting of a fifteen hundred member church in what has become the greatest and one of the fastest growing city in the nation.
The attachment contains all the information you need to see how this could be possible.
It would be a new day for evangelism if we could plant a visible Seventh-day Adventist presence in the Metro Atlanta area. This would take away our “invisibility”, in the city. I have come to realize that the Seventh-day Adventist church, the remnant church, is here and is not known to the people of Atlanta. By God’s grace we can change that; this change can begin in 2006. It would appear that we will need ten million dollars to make this happen. The funds can easily be raised with God’s help and our combined efforts. What can I do? Thanks for asking.
1. In your personal and regular devotions with friends and family, kindly and regularly ask God to lead in this new form of evangelistic movement.
2. We are also asking you to begin praying and asking God to lead you into making a commitment of 5-10% of your income to church budget for the next three years.
3. To make the building possible the church will need to sell 2000 seats at the cost of $500 each. Let us know how many seats you are willing to sell.
God is doing a new thing in Atlanta for the saving of many souls before He comes. He has invited us into His plans. Let us partner with Him. This is a grand and holy privilege.
